ABOUT TAREE TORPEDOES
Taree Torpedoes are a friendly swimming club that have their competition on Wednesday nights with a 5.45 for 6pm start during the summer season commencing on 11th October 2022 We encourage swimmers of all ages and abilities to compete to the best of their ability with the aim being to improve the swimmers personal best times rather than winning. Points are awarded for competing and times gained which add up over the season for the competition point score. This year we will be introducing an exciting new program for club nights which will include three swims each night for all swimmers, with swimmers being able to nominate the distance they wish to swim providing qualifying times have been met. Being a member of Taree Torpedoes also allows swimmers to compete at swimming carnivals at area, state and national levels. Above all swimming club is about having fun
This season we are proud to introduce Taree Torpedoes Masters Swimming, which will allow Masters competitors to train and compete with us on our club nights but also allowing swimmers who register fo Masters Swimming to compete in Masters events
